BTG Biomass Technology Group BV is a private SME of consultants, researchers and engineers specialised in the sustainable energy production from biomass and waste. The firm has a staff of approximately 35 working from offices in Enschede (NL) and regional support offices in the Czech Republic. BTG is specialised in environmentally sound renewable energy technologies as well as in project management and project/market development including implementation related to biomass energy technologies. Bio-energy technologies covered include combustion, carbonisation, pyrolysis, densification, anaerobic digestion and ethanol production.

BTG has extensive experience with Renewable heat projects in East European countries and has a strong involvement in European bio-energy promotion. Of interest to the Redubar project is BTG’s experience in facilitating anaerobic digestion plants in Central America, Europe and Eastern Europe. Over 20 units are in operation producing biogas fro a variety of raw material.
