About DBI

DBI Gas- und Umwelttechnik GmbH is one of the three leading German Gas Institutes. DBI has experience and know how for 50 years in gas technologies, research and development, innovative engineering and gas strategic problems (policies, regulation, legislation, norms, certification). The working areas are:

• gas production and storage
• gas transport and distribution
• gas utilization for heat and power generation
• gas measurement and quality control
• training
• test and certification

The DBI Gas- und Umwelttechnik GmbH is a private engineering and research company and was founded in the year 1991 from the former German Fuel Institut. At present time the company has 18 employees.

DBI GUT offers high-technical, optimised-economical and ecological-compatible technologies and facilities for use and supply of gas/oil and energy. The company has extensive references in coordination of German and international research projects and experiences in research fields concerning:

• Innovative energy technologies (development and monitoring up to market introduction of CHP systems (e.g. fuel cells) and other innovative gas use systems (e.g. heat pumps))
• renewable energy sources
• rational usage of energy

In the project REDUBAR DBI GUT has the following functions:

Die DBI Gas- und Umwelttechnik GmbH ist  eines der 3 führenden Deutschen Gasinstitute. Das DBI hat Erfahrungen und Wissen aus 50 Jahren Gastechnik, Forschung und Entwicklung, innovativer Technik und bei der Lösung gas-strategischer Probleme (Richtlinien, Bestimmungen, Gesetzgebung, Normierung, Zertifizierung). Die DBI Gas- und Umwelttechnik GmbH ist ein privates Ingenieur- und Forschungs­unternehmen und wurde  im Jahr 1991 aus dem Deutschen Brennstoffinstitut gegründet. Gegenwärtig hat das Unternehmen 18 Mitarbeiter.

Die DBI GUT GmbH bietet hochtechnisierte, ökonomisch optimierte und  umweltverträgliche Technologien und Anlagen für die Bereitstellung und Anwendung von Gas / Öl und Energie.

Das Unternehmen hat umfangreiche Referenzen in der Koordination von deutschen und internationalen Forschungsprojekten und Erfahrungen in Forschungsgebieten wie:

• Innovative Energietechnologien (Entwicklung und Monitoring bis zur Markteinführung von KWK-Sytemen (z.B. Brennstoffzellen) und anderen innovativen Gasanwendungssystemen (z.B. Wärmepumpen)
• Erneuerbare Energiequellen
• Rationeller Energieeinsatz
